Explore 28,000 acre rainforest. It’s the largest tract of forest land in the Puerto Rico and the only rainforest in the U.S. national Forest System. El Yunque is home to cool temperatures and a vast array of tropical fauna and flora.

Rainforest tour at no cost to ABC but must pre-register by July 15.  Hiking along trails. Expected return approximately 1:00 p.m. (Schedule departing flights after 4:00 p.m.)

The Fine Print:

    • This destination opportunity is for active ABC members only. Memberships due for renewal on/before August 1, 2011 must be renewed prior to travel.
    • All attendees are responsible for scheduling and payment of travel to San Juan, Puerto Rico to arrive on Sunday, July 17th in time to participate in welcome activities at 6:00 pm local time.
    • ABC members must attend all scheduled events in order to receive  educational credit.
    • Non-attendance at any scheduled event can result in billing/charges at prevailing market rates.
    • Attire for this event is business casual unless otherwise stated (Sundress with sweater, capris or dress shorts, comfortable walking shoes, sunglasses and/or hat, and sunscreen.)
    • Departures should be scheduled for Wednesday, July 20th unless additional nights are reserved and pre-paid for.   
    • All registrants will provide confirmed travel itinerary to Carmen Mesa, ABC, cceventdesigns@aol.com by July 10th to coordinate arrival and departure transport. Complimentary airport transports will be provided for arrivals on Sunday, July 17 and departures on Wednesday, July 20. If you are traveling to/from Puerto Rico on any other days you need to arrange for your own transportation at your expense.  

  • Proper government issued travel identification is required; a valid US passport is suggested.

 

  • Please arrive at least 2 hours prior to flight for check-in, security and potential delays for layovers/connecting flights/transfers.

Payment and Cancellations:
Cancellations before July 1st will be refunded less a $50 administrative fee.  Cancellations/no-shows less than 15 days before the seminar cannot be refunded as we have ordered materials and given a guaranteed attendance. 

Attendees paying by check: check must be postmarked by early registration cutoff to be received and processed prior to travel.  Checks should be made to: Association of Bridal Consultants - Education Department, 660 Neile Ct., Oviedo, FL 32765.  All registrations must be fully pre-paid by July 10th.
